Finding an ace amongst the jokers

… has always been an
excellent analogy for my design
processes. Like anything a design
has to be worked and re-worked
before it is completed. Seemingly good
ideas must be abandoned to let
better ones flourish.

However, looks aren’t everything. The best
looking piece of design is not necessarily the
most effective, it is useless if it isn’t functional. To
employ a designer is to invest in communication.

My job is to find out what the client is trying to say, then figure out the most effective means of relaying that message and to make it resonate with it’s target audience. I invest my time and expertise into every project that I take on. I like to interact with the client as much as possible and bring a personal touch to the services that I provide.

Who's Ken

I currently work and live in Suffolk, where I grew up, I was born in 1983, and have had artistic inclinations for as long as I can remember.

I work in-house for a number of print companies giving me experience in screen, litho and textile printing. I’ve been designing since 1999, commercially since 2004.

To create my work I use: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Quark Xpress and of course the most important tools of my trade are pens, pencils and paper. I also have experience using signmaking software such as Flexisign Pro and Roland Versaworks, I can also fit and lay-up vinyl graphics, predominantly for vehicles and signage.

I’m always looking for new clients to work with and interesting projects to work on.
