I’m happy to be able to share a recent run of projects I had for Kaplan International Colleges. They provide English language courses. As part of their fun approach to the subject they approached me with a view to illustrating some of the stranger English idioms we use. This throws up many nice opportunities to poke fun at our turn of phrase and to visualise what some of them may actually look if applied to reality.
So far I have completed a set of ‘Happiness idioms‘ (Click the link to go to the Kaplan blog and view the full set:
And a set of ‘Animal Idioms‘ (Click the link to go to the Kaplan blog and view the full set):
I’m working on a another set at the moment and hopefully many more in the future.
You can visit the Kaplan Blog to view all of the illustrations.
Please let me know your thoughts on the project and the illustrations themselves.
