Alive and V-Dubbin’ 2010 T-Shirt

Posted 17 Jun 2010 - 2 Gratefully received comments

I was once again asked to design the event t-shirt for a local v-dub club, as they held their big yearly event.
They wanted a laid back summer feel to things and specifically requested the vehicles that feature in the illustration.

We don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are. - Anais Nin

Do Clients find you, or do you find them?

Posted 07 Jun 2010 - 2 Gratefully received comments

There is no sure fire way of creating a steady flow of work. Sometimes clients seem to appear out of the ether without any explanation. Usually a group of them emerge at once and you are extremely busy, then they desert you and you have a dry spell.

I can’t guarantee anyone a steady flow of jobs, but I can suggest ways that might make clients pop up more often.

There are a number of things you can do to help prospective clients find you.
